Renee’s entire life has been formed by her naturally curly hair and her having topograpanosia, a real disorder of the frontal lobe that results in a complete inability to orient herself in space, as well as an inability to remember people’s names. Because of this disorder, she gets lost a lot. If you see her wandering around anywhere, don’t call anyone. Just get her ice cream. That will calm her down. For the hair, there’s not much you can do.
She is, indeed, a former hula hoop champion, as well as the co-author of two books for women over 50. They are Invisible No More: The Secret Lives of Women Over 50 and Saving the Best for Last: Creating Our Lives After 50. She is also a Featured Blogger on Huffington Post.

We advise people not to get both. Since you have already ordered the first one, read that, and if you’d like to see the expanded version, I’ll send you one. I finished reading Invisible No More and I LOVED it! I’m normally not one to use caps throughout an entire word, but I felt it was necessary in this case! The book was hysterical, eye-opening, and inspirational all at the same time. I, too, am not the best with anatomy, but if I happen to experience what you experienced, at least I will now somewhat know what is going on! Where can your other books be purchased? I find myself checking your blog daily to get my fix of your writing, so purchasing other books probably isn’t a bad idea.

Wow, thanks so much for your comments! Invisible No more and Saving the Best for Last are the two books I’ve written with my two friends. But don’t buy Saving the Best for Last, unless you want to spend the money to read the three new chapters we added and see all the discussion questions. The only book I’ve written myself is a novel, King of the Gypsies, which can be ordered on Amazon.

In the meantime yes, that was me this morning snorting iced coffee out of my nose as I read “Putting the 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy to Bed.” I am fortunate to have sampled only a few paragraphs of a friend’s copy while sitting on the beach where proximity to the salt water and open air quickly restored my equilibrium.

Oh my, I am a complete whore for this kind of feedback. Excuse me while I smack myself back to reality. OK, I’m back. I’m glad you enjoy my blog, especially since I am currently in the midst of wondering if I should even continue. I step back and wonder what, exactly, it is that I’m doing. There’s no money in it, and it’s not helping the economy or the environment or even getting rid of the bee’s nest under my front porch. Maybe this malaise will pass. Maybe I need chocolate. I did some research on Internet dating when a daughter told me her Mom took her 3-year-old granddaughter on a first date (McDonald’s) with someone she met online. Daughter was incensed. I got on a site to ask how others felt. They agreed – bad idea. Take pictures of grandchildren if you like, but do not use them as armor.
