I want the first ones! Beautiful! And your toes are lovely. It looks like most of these have sensible heels, too. I cannot wear anything higher than about 2 inches – comfortably, that is.
Yes, yes, yes. I am totally showing off. I love cute shoes and I love comfortable shoes. And Now Husband was loving the photo shoot. I’ll repeat in the winter with my boots.
I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO been looking forward to this post. Like Betty, I LOVE the yellow flowered ones–and the ones just before them, as well. Have you read my post about the handbags? I’ll come back with the link.
Hugs,
Kathy
My post about purses is called “Seven Signs of Bag-Lady Chic: A Confession in Photos.” You will enjoy it, if you haven’t already. I can’t remember if you commented on it or not.
They do seem to be the most popular. They are certainly the most comfy. I love the first ones and I also love the clunky open toed ones and I also love–oh hell, I love them all.
Actually, mine too, although I made the mistake of wearing them to a big antiques show on a farm–spent the day in them walking over gravel roads and on grassy fields. I think those shoes (and my feet) weren’t meant for such terrain. But I adore the shoes.
I love them all. I have very wide feet (short, too – kind of square!!!) so I am constantly on the search for cute, comfy shoes. Mostly I wear nursing shoes, though.
When Byronic Man appointed me dictator of the world (or something like that) for winning one of his contests, I declared that no one with ugly feet could wear sandals. You, my dear, have dictatorial permission to wear any shoes you would like.
I thank you. But, because I am seriously neurotic (not to be confused with casually neurotic), I spent years (way back when) without ever exposing my feet. I thought my feet were awful (I thought all feet were awful) I wore sneakers all through the summer. One day I woke up, looked at my feet and thought “These are feet. What’s the big deal? Everybody has them.” (their own, not mine). I went out and bought sandals.
One of my biggest regrets in life is not buying the yellow flower ones you have here. I really think my life would be just that much better with them. 🙂
As long as they’re not those repulsive orthopedic things! You’d think they would make them a little more stylish in this day and age! God forbid I ever have to wear them!!!
I’m loving those yellow tie ups and the red wedges! Lovely with jeans!
Thanks, Ryoko. There is a woman in my aunt’s assisted living facility who has an array of great flats. She uses a walker, but she wears cute shoes. She is my hero.
Ladie’s got style ! As a shoe lover myself, and by shoe lover I mean it to the point that I will have to move out of my apartment because my shoes leave no room for me… I thoroughly enjoyed this and hope I have as much style as you do when I reach your age. Keep that style!

If you can't get enough of Life in the Boomer Lane's humor, or, if your life is tawdry and meaningless, you can purchase many of LBL's posts in Kindle format, for the same price as you would pay for a mojo grande salted caramel skim latte. Or, you can buy the book and the latte as well, and really live it up. Just don't spill the latte all over the Kindle in your exhuberance.
Go to the Kindle section on Amazon and search Life in the Boomer Lane. Your life will change immediately.

Thanks. Yes, I am on a perpetual hunt for cute, COMFORTABLE shoes. I do wear heels higher than 2″ when it’s a platform-style.
